Flora holds a Master's Degree from École Polytechnique, Paris-Saclay (France). She had previously worked as part of the Renku team based in Lausanne in 2017 and 2018 before spending four years in the tech industry; one year at Google within the Assistant team, followed by three years in two startups. Flora rejoined the SDSC in 2023 as a senior software engineer. She is passionate about pragmatic engineering and building software to solve painful problems.
